CALZEDONIA Swimwear Collection 2020 - The Globetrotter Edition

CALZEDONIA SWIMWEAR COLLECTION - THE GLOBETROTTER EDITION

A sensational journey between land and sea. The CALZEDONIA BEACHWEAR SS2020 collection has new destinations to embark upon.

Travel over LAND
A journey with scents of exotic fruit and spices starting from Marrakech and continuing into the desert of Merzouga, along a dusty road that leads up to central Africa. The collection explores warm and enveloping tones, spicy like being in the souk of Jemaa el-Fna. There are many variations of yellow tones in the swimwear pieces such as mustard, curry, and saffron along with red tones, like cinnamon, chilli and ginger. To give a refreshing boost, there is the combination of vital green colours portrayed from the palm leaves, and the decisive tones of the terracotta earth.

A caravan that enters the central African forests in search of gold. The textures of the costumes are also enriched with gold flares thanks to golden and shiny threads that are combined all together.

A gypset and bohemian mood is presented, where bikini tops have knotted bow straps and bottoms, one-shoulder bras and high-waisted culottes with elegant ring elements, and balconette pieces with ethno-cool patterns.

Travel by SEA

Vitamin "sea". Into the blue, between the ocean and Mediterranean sea. From navy to turquoise, for swimsuits with modern three-dimensional textures, a mix of embossing and small flounces, which recall the ripples of the waves. A cool sailor style with a retro flavor that is reflected in the two Vichy checked pieces, in the little triangles with ruffles, in the unique reinterpretations of marinière stripes, and the remastered vintage balconettes.

The textures are embellish with a variety of sequences of colours that recall the reflections of the sun on salt water.

There are also many yacht club style silhouettes, such as the total black with gold metal inserts, or the sexy trikini.

Finally the oriental influences arise upon the collection with  prints that recall the Moroccan tiles glazed with white and blue patterns.
